Outdoor Climbing

Saturday 13th October 2007: Burbage North. With the winter season fast approaching and the daylight fading fast the old Tuesday evening outdoor climbing has now moved to Saturday afternoon, to make the most of the available light. Winter makes for great climbing because although a bit chilly settled weather, such as that over the past week, makes the days crisp and dry and usually clear making for great views. Those venturing out to Burbage on the Eastern edge on Saturday had a great afternoon's climbing in one of the most pituresque and popular spots in the Peak. Hopefully the weather will hold and the forthcoming dates and vunues will prove to be as sucessful as Saturday. Check the website for full details of dates and locations.
