Tuesday Climbing

At Castle Naze on Tuesday 28th August The nights are beginning to draw in and at Castle Naze by 9pm it was really too dark to do any sensible climbing. This didn't stop us having a go at some of the routes on the crag in the Severe grade. Later on the climbs of the same grade became much more tricky as the light faded and it became more difficult to see. The trip back to the car park was interesting and in some ways entertaining with everybody managing a trip in the failing light at some point. Statistically speaking you are more likely to trip walking to the crag than while climbing it....
